Y’all, it’s been many moons since I’ve posted my latest Makeup 101: Concealer. I’ve been working on a new post about makeup brushes, but that’s been a monster to tackle! So in the meantime, I drafted up a fun mini-post about what lip products I’ve been using this season.
Since I am #onabudget, Revlon lip products have been my savior. Praise those beautiful souls for creating these colors that won’t cost me a pretty penny.
1.) Super Lustrous Lipstick- Plum- $5.99
This lipstick is a suitable berry color that’s been superrr popular as of lately. Don’t be scared off by the name, because it actually doesn’t go on that dark. This would be a great choice for any gal who wants to take a baby step into the dark-lipstick-underworld. The “Super Lustrous” part gives it a shine, so your lips stay moisturized throughout the night, and prevents a matte finish to your lips. I personally like this aspect, because dry lips drives me BONKERS.
2.) Colorstay Moisture Stain- Parisian Passion- $9.99
If a lipstick and a lipgloss had a baby, it would be this Moisture Stain. I’m IN LOVE with it. It goes on smooth like a lipgloss, is SUPER pigmented like a lipstick, and stains your lips so that the color lasts for hours. Hello, what more could you ask for?
3.) Colorburst Lip Butter- Candy Apple- $5.99
An oldie, but goodie. These Lip Butters have been around for over 5 years, and they’re a classic. They’re a combo of lipstick and chapstick, and is best for gals on-the-go who need a simple lip color to brighten their face.
4.) Super Lustrous Lipgloss- Berry Allure- $8.50
It gives your lips shine without being sticky, color without being overly-pigmented, and can be put on-top of any of the lip products listed above. If I’m in a hurry, I’ll just run out the door and swipe some of this on my lips. You really can’t go wrong with it!
Hope you enjoyed this little snippet of my lip collection! Have a great week, peeps.
